Golden Orioles, LIMITED EDITION, Eurasian Golden Oriole, Oriolus oriolus, Yellow Bird, Bright Cadmium Yellow Bird, Bird Art, Bird Print, Art
Golden Oriole, by Dutch nature artist Paula Kuitenbrouwer, who saw orioles in Italy, the Netherlands and South Korea. Two male Orioles impress a female in the background with their awesome yellow plumage.
The name "oriole" was first used in the 18th century and is an adaptation of the scientific Latin name "aureolus" meaning golden. So, Golden Oriole means Golden Golden. But you can also go for this bird melodiously tweeting its own name; 'O-riooo-le', which makes the name a perfect onomatopoeia (a word that phonetically imitates the source of the sound that it describes, like 'cuckoo' sound that made by a cuckoo). When you see a male Golden Oriole flying pass, a flash of golds passes you by. On a perfect sunny day, when the sun shines on its golden wing, it becomes Golden Golden which is a spot on description.
