Feng Shui Earth Element, Earth Feng Shui with Clay, Stone, Landscape and cut-through, Art Print of Coloured Pencil Drawing; highly detailed

A circular Earth Element composition with a Clay Vase, Old Stone Wall, Landscape and cut-through of soil showing tree roots, stones, earth layers and two burrowing rabbits. This drawing is by Paula Kuitenbrouwer, Dutch nature artist living in Ireland.

Paula has set out to make a solid, dense drawing, showing different aspects of the element of Earth: it shows a landscape, a cut-through showing a few soil layers, it and it shows what we do with dirt and soil; we use it for pottery and making stone walls as from prehistoric times.

Earth grounds us, it calms us and makes us feel good. We love gardening because we stick our hands in soil and stand on dirt. Somehow this reassures and decompresses us from our modern hectic life that offers us many distractions, neurosis and stress. Bring some earth element in your sleeping room; use its soft ochre colours, decorate it with some beautifully Zen-like stacked stones. It will help you to slow down, to ease stress and to sleep deep, like the burrowing bunnies in this drawing.

Mother Gaia or Mother Earth is known to us all one way or the other. Even the stardust from which we are said to be born is earth-element and we surely will return to earth at the end of our lives even if we use cremation. Earth is our mother and it feels good to feel surrounded by things, colours or reminders of what Fengshui sees as representing the element of earth. Earth nourishes us through food, shelters us in caves, defends us with stone walls and heals us with her drops that grown on her. Mother Earth is good to us, much better than we are to her.

This drawing isn't made of dirt or soil, but its pigments and paper all original from earth and even its maker, me.

Feng Shui is about your relation with your environment. You combine what represents earth in Feng Shui and in your life; combining it through using your own creative ideas and love for art, nature and botany, will make you happy.
